Community Heart Living in Derbyshire

The very lovely and generous Val very kindly welcomed us to stay in Emily Barn, a holiday cottage at her home in Carsington Village, during the week after our last Teacher Training weekend here in the Peak District. Nearly twenty people attended, some for a meal or two and others living together for the full four days. Adults and children made new friends, cooked together, walked in the hills, connected with sacred stones, played with cushions and soft toys, and dropped together in the sweet stillness of Heart Meditation.

And we raised £315 to be divided between Heart Of Living Yoga Foundation and Val’s vision to create a beautiful retreat centre and haven for people in need.

Everyone who came wants to do it again!
