Working with Children in Rishikesh

We have just received an update from the after-schoool project we support at Yoga Dhanendra Gurukulam in Rishikesh tthat the children took part in a special ceremony today for Basant Panchami. - the festival of the Goddess Saraswati, goddess of wisdom and learning.

The children offered prayers that all obstacles in our lives should be removed and Mother should always give wisdom to all and a bright future for everyone. It is a great honour for the children to take part in the ceremony and we are proud of them all!

We have recently provided them all with warm jumpers and woolly hats for the cold winter months and have organised for them to receive regular English lessons. We have also been able to organise English lessons for the local flower children under the wings of a local ashram.
