Heart Of Living Yoga is returning with Padma Devi to one of its favourite retreat places, close to all the places of St. Francis & St. Clare in Assisi, the miraculous events at La Verna & the warm & welcoming Yoganananda Ashram.
On this retreat, the peace and silence of the Tuscan hills is balanced with some days out "on pilgrimage" to those sacred places. So while we are "at home" on retreat in our farmhouse, we enjoy silence & heartfelt community - and while we are on pilgrimage we enjoy all that the holy places have to offer us - plus the occasional ice cream!
We share harmonious communal living at the farmhouse, just like a family - doing shopping, cooking, enjoying al fresco meals together on the terrace - and we also follow an ashram-style programme led by Rev. Padma Devi of early morning 6am meditation, followed by a heart-centred hatha yoga experience, morning satsang, noon meditation, heart rest deep relaxation after lunch, 4pm pranayama, 6pm meditation and 9pm for our beautiful resting into the peace of the heart meditation before going to sleep at 9.30am - ready for another day of peace and bliss.
We are limited to just 16 places on this retreat- and 6 are already booked - so please don't wait too long to book your place to avoid disappointment.
The cost is 380 Euros which includes your accommodation and car rental, but your flight to Pisa is extra because it depends on where you are coming from. Please allow around 100 Euros more for food and fuel plus any spending money for souvenirs - and that amazing Italian ice cream !
