How would you like to honour the mothers? Whether it’s writing to your own mother or grandmothers, to inspiring women in history or to our great Mother Earth, making time to write from the heart is a beautiful way to honour those who give and nurture life.
In this special gathering, we will share a beautiful heart meditation to help love flow through our writing, through our relationships, through the world. From here, you can write whatever you like – a poem, a letter, a story, an essay, or some form we’ve maybe never seen before. Whatever flows from the heart is just right.
Afterwards, we will have space to share if you wish – either about the experience or some or all of what you wrote – or to or simply listen to others. We’ve found over the years that writing from the heart and listening from the heart is a powerful combination for helping us all to reconnect with our natural creativity, compassion and community spirit.
We will gather on Zoom on the Saturday 29th March 4-:5:30pm (UK time). Mothering Sunday was originally a call for peace. A call for a society that honours the love of mother’s for their children and that honours the children themselves. 25% of all funds raised will go to support the work of the Heart Of Living Yoga Foundation, supporting underprivileged children and their families in Sri Lanka, Brasil, India and the U.K.
All Welcome.
