Charity Update: India

In India we are proud and happy to support the Freedom School in Rishikesh where a group of young university students and graduates are providing after school education and support to children from the slum area, and we even have some flower children who are regularly attending.

That has previously been difficult because the poverty-stricken parents need their children to go out and sell flowers to bring a little extra money into the home. Freedom School is helping the parents to understand that by letting their kids come to the school they are investing in their own future. We are currently providing them with a lot of educational resources including a laptop for learning how to navigate the internet and begin to have some IT skills.

With heartfelt love and deepest gratitude to all our supporters - whether you make a regular donation, or buy something from our website or attend any of our courses and retreats - we thank you. As we do not have paid workers (apart from the outside accountant we legally need) for our annual accounts) or premises other than our own homes, every penny we receive goes to support the children and their families. And without you and your love and prayers, none of it would be possible.
